In February 2020, three service ships – Lundstrom Tide, Caroline Tide III and Prudence – docked at the Beirut Port.
The service ships will provide logistical support for the drillship such as transportation of equipment and materials from the supply base in Beirut Port to the drillship.
The service ships will also monitor and patrol the area around the drillship to secure the safety zone surrounding the drillship with a radius of up to 500 m.
Additionally the service ships will transport slope, cuttings and wastes to discharge and treat the relevant waste.
The service ships are also equipped with firefighting materials in case of emergency.
