PGS 2D&3D Seismic Surveys
The Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) Lebanese Multi-Client seismic data sets include 8637.6 km of 2D seismic data as well as 7,427 km2 of 3D seismic survey acquired between 2006 and 2012.
These surveys provide vital structural insights of the basin and include a detailed grid over Lebanese acreage.
DATA ROOM OPENNING (2010)
The data room was established at the Ministry of Energy and Water in November 2010. It contains technical reports, published papers, presentations, a dedicated Geographic Information System (GIS) workstation, and dedicated seismic workstations.
In addition, the seismic data may also be viewed at service companies in the UK, Norway and other locations may be possible by special arrangement. A large amount of high quality modern technical data is available to assist parties interested in the Lebanese licensing rounds.
Available geoscience data has been loaded to the technical workstation projects and is available to be viewed at the data room to increase the knowledge of offshore Lebanon, evaluate offshore Lebanon’s hydrocarbon prospectivity, invite key clients to data reviews and to develop marketing strategy and publications.
